My name is Adam, I am 14 years old. I live in Alanson,Michigan. And I've got a question that I hope you can answer. It's deals with computers. I don't know that much about computers but I am willing to learn. Anyway, my question is, "After I download a game off the Internet(I usually put it in "my documents" in my Windows 98') and I open the file,and it asks me where I would like you open it in, and I open it in wordpad, and when it comes up it is encrypted, and I don't have a DAMN clue what to do next. If you could help with this I would certainly appreciate it, and if you can't, that's all right, maybe you could refer me to someone who could. Thanks for taken the time to read this. Well adam, when you download a game off the net, you assume its a compatible game. some games are for mac, and some for W98. If you are sure its a W98 game, when you try to open it, and it asks where do you want to open it, there are 1 of 2 reasons. 1 is that the file is corrupted and delete it FAST because there might be a virus BUT before you delete it- check the last 3 letters of the name. if it is .zip you must "unzip" it. you need an unzip program. You can download one at www.winzip.com - run winzip and follow the instructions to unzip your file. If you need anything else, email me and i will put it here.
